At last we have some viewing figures for Poldark on PBS Masterpiece.
The premiere drew more than 4 million viewers in the US before other platforms were added reports Oregon Live. To give a comparison Wolf Hall, which premiered in April, attracted 4.4 million viewers including catchup TV. Speaking at the TV Critics Summer TV Press Tour, Masterpiece executive producer Rebecca Eaton said that Poldark could run for 'years and years'
Rebecca Eaton also announced that Poldark was renewed for a second season on Masterpiece.
