We would like to wish everyone a very Happy Christmas and what better way to celebrate than with Demelza's song at Trenwith, beautifully sung by Eleanor Tomlinson. Not only a lovely Christmas scene, but one of the most romantic moments in the show.

If you play the guitar you can try playing Demelza's song yourself, the tabulatur can be found here.

Titbits from 'And Then There Were None': The House

And Then There Were None is set in a mansion on an island off the coast of Devon.  While, in the BBC drama, the house will appear to be on an island, the building used for filming was actually in Harefield, in the London Borough of Hillingdon.

Poldarked believes the house used was Harefield Grove Farm, a Grade II listed building, probably dating from the early 19th century. The house is no stranger to filming having been used in The Adventures of Black Beauty, Dave Allen at Large, and The Two Ronnies. It provided the headquarters of CI5 in the first series of The Professionals according to The Authorised Guide to The Professionals.

To film And Then There Were None the entire rear of the house was covered by a large tent, to allow the crew to control the lighting.  Builders worked on transforming the interior into a 1940's house while filming was taking place.
